“Exceptional Inn Keepers”
Ann & Roy, we got home safely on Sunday around 3PM after a 7 hour car ride. Once we unpacked and settled down for the night I opened Tripadvisor so we could post a review about our stay at Scargo Manor. Not surprised to find that EVERYBODY who stayed there raved about their stay and meeting the both of you! We will eventually post something but we won't be able to improve on the comments already listed. It was a great stay and you both are exceptional inn keepers. Best wishes for a wonderful summer!
“Every Once in a While”
I planned my getaway months in advance. After searching through many different B&B's on the Cape, I settled in at the Scargo Manor inn for a few days of much needed rest. I picked out the hydrangea room for its charm, privacy and skylight which lets the stars and moonlight in. Unfortunately it was cloudy for the two nights I spent there. Inn keepers Roy & Ann are very special people, their hospitality was above and beyond, they made me feel right at home. The lake and the kayaks are sitting there waiting for you to explore, loved the hammocks, beautiful hummingbirds flew right by me while I was sitting on the front porch. They are around when you need them and next time I'm in the area I will book the hydrangea room and hope the full moon shines. White glove service with warm hearted Inn keepers.

“We loved the Scargo Manor Staff”
What a wonderful experience my sister and I had at this B&B. Of all the B&Bs we stayed at, this was one of the highlights. Ann was an amazing font of information and helped me so much in my similar business of running a B&B in Canada. She shared all her success stories and made us feel so welcome. I couldn't stop taking pictures and "stealing" all her wonderful touches from the bread warmer, to the homemade granola and truffle, to the flower filled boat and Halloween decorations. Breakfast was fabulous. Again, I will make some of the same recipes. Her husband and even her daughter were able to give me great ideas. I loved this place and their positive disposition. They do it right! I can't thank them enough.

“An extraordinary experience”
This inn is different, in a very positive way. The mansion is beautiful, the rooms are well equipped (including a fridge), large and clean. The garden, with its own cozy lake beach, is huge and fabulous. Corporation Beach and Dennis Town Center are within walking distance. That all should be enough. Yet the big thing is the atmosphere. Inns in this price bracket can be a little intimidating, but not Scargo Manor: Ann and Roy -and Pam- run the place like it's not just their home, but yours too, a feeling that grabs you from the very moment of checking in. It's like staying with friends (although quite busy friends). Scargo Manor was the last B&B on our 2014 New England tour. It will probably the first at our next.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Scargo Manor last weekend. We fell in love with the solid ship captain's home on Scargo lake. The inn is pristine clean and quiet. The Inn Keepers Ann & Roy went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and made us feel like old friends. We woke each morning to the smells of a delicious breakfast and were entertained by Ann's hilarious stories of the life on the Cape. Every recommendation Ann made for dinner, beaches or entertainment was first class. There was really no needs to leave Dennis. We definitely will return and would highly recommend this Inn.

“Great Cape B&B”
A wonderful Bed and Breakfast in a central location on Cape Cod. Our room was large, and spotlessly clean with all necessary amenities. Ann, the manager of the Inn, was most accommodating, friendly, and an incredibly warm host. The breakfast served was varied, delicious, and plentiful. We would definitely return to Scargo Manor.

“Exceptional in every way”
My now wife and I were looking for a place that we could book for our entire wedding party to stay at together during our wedding weekend. After visiting a few places in the area we thought we would try the Scargo Manor and we are both glad we did. We were greeted by Ann the innkeeper who gave us a tour and confirmed that we could rent the entire place for the weekend. After meeting her and seeing the place there really was no other choice.
Ann, her husband Roy were incredible. They far exceeded our expectations and went out of their way to accommodate our large group. Never once did we feel like we were staying in a "hotel" it was more like we were staying in our own homes. From making us snacks to dogsitting for us during our reception there wasn't one request or favor asked that wasn't met with a pleasant "no problem".
The rooms are all different and each has it's own unique characteristics and charms. I had the unique opportunity to see them all as we basically had full run of the house. Some of the rooms were larger than others and the one I stayed in, the Princess Scargo Room, actually had a separate bedroom with a day bed.
Each morning we were greeted with a delicious breakfast prepared by Ann. She offered a great variety of foods and no one ever left feeling hungry. Ann also baked some exceptional breads which we were able to snack on while enjoying a morning coffee in the sun room.
The location is very close to Corporation Beach and about a 10 minute drive out to the hustle and bustle of the RT 28 and that area. We found we didn't really need to go anywhere since there is a beach right on the lake complete with hammocks, Adirondack chairs and kayaks. Our group loved hanging out by the water and just relaxing.
Whether you are looking for a place to accommodate a large group like we had or just a quiet place to get away for a few days look no further. I highly recommend the Scargo Manor and can't wait to stay with Ann again.

I didn't actually stay at the Scargo Manor but I was a part of the wedding party who rented the whole property. Ann was great, she went above and beyond for our group. She accommodated breakfast earlier for us when the girls had to leave for an early nail appointment, they watched our dogs during the wedding, and even bough us s'more supplies after they overheard us talking about it one night. The accommodations were great for the couples we had staying there and also was able to accommodate small families. The beach area was a great with a dock, kayaks, and plenty of room for a large group!

“Cape Cod Gem”
The Scargo Manor B & B is a delightful place to stay in Cape Cod. The rooms are charmingly decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is better than most B&Bs, it is delicious and they offer a nice selection. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the view while we ate. The staff is terrific, Ann and Roy are WONDERFUL hosts!!
Everyone is very friendly and accommodating (hi Pam!), we couldn't ask for anything more – they are genuinely warm and we were sorry to leave. The property is on a lake and there are kayaks, canoes and life vests for you to use – we had a lovely morning kayaking. It is very relaxing place with a large lawn rolling down to the lake where you can sit quietly and read, or nap in one of their hammocks. When we return to Cape Cod we will definitely stay here again.

“Ann is the best”
Did not get to stay but staff was so nice and helped me find a place ! Ann called an emailed me !! So very kind !! Can't wait to stay at Scargo next time going to try to make it back to the Cape soon staying at Scargo Manor !!
— Lisa (Medford, MA)
We visit the Cape every year with friends but this year we wanted to try something different. We were super impressed with the house and surrounding landscape; it is gorgeous!! Ann & Roy could not have been nicer.
They are a really sweet couple who truly goes above & beyond for their guests. We ordered out one night, which was our 2nd anniversary, and when we came back with the food, the table was set for just us, music playing...so romantic and unexpected!!! We will definitely be back and look forward to enjoying different seasons on the Cape at this beautiful and truly unique location. We felt as if we made new friends and can't wait to come back!

“Best place in Cape Cod”
We just got back from a 6 day stay at Scargo Manor and my husband and I can't say enough good things. The gourmet breakfast was delicious, Ann (the innkeeper) was the sweetest and the lake was out of this world. We will be back, for sure!!

“Fantastic place to spend a long weekend”
The Scargo Manor was the perfect place to spend a long weekend on the Cape. Ann (the hostess with the mostest) was warm, kind, and took time to get to know us - she even picked up a box of Frosted Flakes for breakfast no reason other than that they are 1) delicious, and 2) we discussed how good they are. We stayed in the Captain's Suite. It had a ton of space, great views out onto the lawn, and was quite comfortable.
— Webreviewer (New York City, NY)
Just returned from a wonderful stay @ Scargo Manor. Loved the beautiful Princess Scargo Room. The view from the deck was awesome. Loved the sitting areas downstairs and the beautiful dining room. The food was excellent! But the best thing about Scargo Manor were our hosts Ann and Roy. They made us feel right at home. Love the beautiful area and look forward to returning again!
— Kathleen M. (Lincoln, RI)
We highly recommend Scargo. The house is amazing, the rooms are quiet and comfortable. It's wonderful to just take a walk down to the lake and enjoy the quiet go the Cape. They were very thoughtful even placing a package of Epsom salts in our bathroom for my wife to bathe after running the Boston marathon.

“Nice to back – Best times are off Season”
Our 2nd trip, mid February, we didn't have traffic to fight, lots of things to do on the Cape. Ann and Roy are great hosts, the breakfasts super (three mornings). Love the Captain's Room, and want to try the others too. What fun, next time we go farther out the Cape. Just like home!
— Charles, CT.
Visited Cape Cod for the weekend and stayed here for 1 night. The property was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful. Stayed in the Hydrangea room for the skylight, too bad there was a blizzard which covered the view with snow (which only means we'll have to come back when the weather is warmer). Had a wonderful view of the sunrise from the bed the next morning.
Visiting the Cape for a wedding, I chose to stay at this beautiful, historic Bed & Breakfast in Dennis. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Ann & Roy were warm and helpful hosts. Breakfast is served in a large, airy dining room and the food was delicious. A great central location for visiting Cape Cod. Compared to other inns and hotels in the area, Scargo Manor is very affordable.

“A New Englander Charmer”
My first visit to the Cape was fantastic partly due to this charming, well located B&B. I stayed in the Toile Room in the rear of the Manor which overlooked the lake and beautiful grounds. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Ann & Roy are gracious and helpful inn-keepers. I was even surprised by a fresh bouquet of flowers from them after having a minor plumbing problem in my bath which was resolved in short order. I found Dennis to be a beautiful town to stay in and it's great location makes it easy to travel to all parts of the Cape.
I truly wish that I could have stayed longer and hope that I will be able to return to complete all the things I didn’t have time to do. You will NOT be disappointed if you choose this B&B. It is a treasure.
— Valerie (Ft. Lauderdale)
“A Wonderful Place to Stay”
Scargo Manor is a very lovely B&B. The old captain's home is amazing! Our room (Princess Suite) was perfect. You must get this room with the private patio! All of the rooms looked very nice. Everything was very nicely kept. The breakfast had everything we needed. The Inn Keepers were wonderful, and they told great stories! Meeting them made the trip very unique. They also went above and beyond and let me use their freezer. The location was very ideal. I would definitely stay there again / stay in Dennis again.

“The perfect relaxing spot”
The Scargo B&B is an ideal spot to relax and rest. From the spacious, well-appointed rooms, restful grounds and the lake with rowboats, to the excellent breakfasts, everything is perfect for a peaceful get-away. Scargo Manor, on Scargo Lake, is just a short walk to the salt water beach. This nineteenth century mansion was once a sea captain's home, both tastefully and beautifully furnished. It has large rooms and is very quiet. There was a fine selection of choices at breakfast, all nicely prepared and presented in a period dining room. Your Chatelaine, Ann, is very warm and friendly, with lots of suggestions for your entertainment while on the Cape.

“A warm and inviting B&B in the most beautiful spot”
I walked into Scargo Manor and was greeted by a crackling fire in the parlor and Van Morrison on the stereo. Ann, the innkeeper, was so sweet and friendly, I felt like I'd known her for years. The Inn itself, built in the 1800's by a sea captain, is beautiful and lovingly maintained. The Hydrangea room, where we slept, was cozy, clean and comfortable, with a view of Scargo lake and the Inn's pretty grounds. And Ann's breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back.

“Great spot in a beautiful part of the Cape”
The Scargo B&B is beautifully located on Scargo Lake, and within walking distance of the beach. the best of both worlds. Ann, the Innkeeper, is friendly and accommodating. The B&B is immaculate, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. We're looking forward to returning there this summer for a longer stay. I highly recommend this lovely B&B!
